School Council

Stoke Prior First School's School Council has been up and running for over two years now.

Two representatives from each class, (voted for by their class) take issues that are raised during Class Council sessions to the School Council meetings to be discussed. Minutes are recorded and then shared by the representatives with their class.

The meeting is also attended by Mrs Evans our Head teacher, Mrs Grounds one of our Teaching Assistants and Mrs Vipond one of our Lunch Time Supervisors.

Lots of issues are raised and tackled.Discussions have resulted in the children organising a book swap club and helping to develop a lunch time behaviour policy. Recently the team have had alot of input into suggestions for improving the boys toilet area, discussing these ideas with the Governor for the Premises Committee.

This is our current School Council, which is made up of 2 pupils elected from Classes 1,2,3 and 4.
