Even More Special Events!

11 June - 15 June was Walk to School Week. Children were given lots of information about the benefits of walking and cycling to school. Even if children were not able to walk the whole distance, they encouraged parents to park their cars further away to cut down on congestion.

In the Summer Term 07we were joined by Lickey End First School and Millfields First School for a French Day for those pupils who show a talent for learning new languages.
Helen Leigh led the day as the advisory teacher. This was the first time that this type of event has been held in the Worcestershire area.

The children learnt about traditional french cuisine. They also played lots of word games, here our pupils were learning the french words for some of their clothing.

Our parents, Mr and Mrs Vries have kindly given their time to create a raised bed area for our Eco Group to grow even more plants and vegetables.
